Two boys cross their societal boundaries and fall in love. In time, they change each other, and eventually, their divided world.

Asahi Shimbun’s article is about listening to music, how it has affected their lives, etc. There are some stories of depression, but I’m only translating the Ohno part (boxed in red)

A 51-year-old woman from Shiga Prefecture said, “When I got Meniere’s disease, for over 30 years I didn’t think I’d be able to listen to trendy songs. Only the voice of Ohno Satoshi of Arashi rang in my inner ear.”

Meniere’s disease according to wiki: “is a disorder of the inner ear that can affect hearing and balance to a varying degree. It is characterized by episodes of vertigo, low-pitched tinnitus, and hearing loss. The hearing loss is fluctuating rather than permanent, meaning that it comes and goes, alternating between ears for some time, then becomes permanent with no return to normal function.”
